The Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services (HHS) equips students with the skills to address the needs of at-risk populations, families, and communities. Through evidence-based methods, graduates will design, implement, and assess programs that enhance individual and collective wellbeing while tackling significant personal and societal obstacles. This degree program offers three demanding yet interconnected specializations: (1) Public Health, (2) Human Services, and (3) Pre-Health Professions.
All concentrations provide students with multidisciplinary, ethical, and cutting-edge training in delivering public health initiatives, human services, and medical care. Combining academic excellence, pioneering research, and hands-on learning, the Health and Human Services program prioritizes community involvement and service-based education. Learners are supported in applying classroom knowledge to real-world settings through supervised internships with nonprofits, social service providers, government agencies, healthcare facilities, and other regional and national organizations.
This program caters to students pursuing careers or advanced studies in fields such as public health, social work, child development, healthcare management, family services, addiction treatment, and various medical professions including medicine, physician assistant roles, pharmacy, rehabilitation therapies, dental care, optometry, and nursing.
