Students pursuing the BA Thesis Track complete a thesis focused on human rights. During Spring Quarter of their third year, they must secure a thesis advisor and submit a signed proposal to the Director of Undergraduate Studies by the quarter's end. In their fourth year, students enroll in the Human Rights BA Thesis Workshop during Autumn and Winter Quarters. This biweekly workshop provides research training, panel discussions, and opportunities to present thesis progress to peers and instructors. For double majors, this workshop may fulfill the BA requirement if approved, given the thesis incorporates human rights themes.
