The Bachelor of Science in History at the University of Central Missouri encourages exploration of varied cultures and historical human experiences. As a History student, you'll cultivate analytical abilities, research expertise, and critical thinking while enhancing your cultural awareness. The program provides hands-on learning in digital history, public history, and service opportunities. Your journey as an engaged global citizen starts with UCM's History degree. Unlike the B.A., the B.S. in History replaces foreign language requirements with nine or more elective credits that can be used for extra history courses or pursuing a related minor/second major. Several concentrations already cover over half the requirements for a secondary minor.
