Graduates earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre will apply their acquired knowledge and skills to:
Effectively communicate and collaborate throughout theatre's creative process.
Exhibit comprehensive understanding of theatre's historical, cultural, and stylistic aspects.
Show technical competence in acting, design, and production techniques.
Develop, articulate, and justify critical evaluations regarding theatrical works' quality and artistic merit.
Sophomore Review: During a designated session, second-year theatre majors, minors, and transfer students meet with Theatre & Dance faculty to evaluate academic progress midway through their undergraduate studies. Participants present their professional materials including resumes, headshots, personal statements, and digital portfolios for faculty review. Feedback is provided both verbally and in writing, with all written evaluations maintained in the student's departmental records.
