The University of Central Florida's School of Modeling, Simulation, and Training (SMST) offers interdisciplinary degree programs designed for careers across diverse sectors including academia, government, defense, healthcare, entertainment, technology, education, and manufacturing. While simulation serves as a fundamental tool in engineering and scientific disciplines, its applications extend far beyond - encompassing training programs, management strategies, and conceptual development. Our curriculum focuses on creating human-focused, equipment-based, and independent computer models for both existing systems and innovative concepts.

Through extensive consultation with industry professionals, UCF SMST has identified essential competencies that shape our academic programs. This industry collaboration has been instrumental in crafting a curriculum that offers comprehensive insight into the evolving simulation field while addressing practical economic factors. Our educational approach emphasizes assessing human, organizational, equipment, and system dynamics through simulation analysis. Graduates from SMST programs acquire both broad foundational knowledge and specialized expertise in Modeling and Simulation methodologies.
