Students receive comprehensive training across multiple fields such as Conservation Biology, Ecology, Evolutionary Studies, Physiology, Genetics, and Cellular/Developmental Biology.
This program exclusively offers a thesis-based track (the non-thesis MS option is currently unavailable). The thesis track mandates completion of at least 30 credit hours, with a minimum of 15 at the 6000 level. Since thesis work is required, applicants must secure a faculty advisor's commitment for program admission. The curriculum includes at least 24 credit hours of coursework (excluding thesis credits), with Independent Study and Directed Research limited to 6 of these 24 credits.
