The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program equips students to develop into skilled, caring, and principled physical therapists capable of providing effective treatment across diverse healthcare environments. This three-year (nine consecutive semesters) doctoral curriculum prepares entry-level practitioners for work in various clinical environments. The full-time, structured program incorporates multiple clinical internships lasting eight to twelve weeks each. It also features specialized interprofessional learning opportunities with students from other healthcare fields, along with research training and projects.
Upon completing the program, students earn the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT), qualifying them to take the national licensing exam for state certification as Physical Therapists.
