UCF's secondary education program helps you build teaching methods and subject expertise tailored for middle and high school environments. You'll discover modern educational technologies, including hands-on training with TeachLivE virtual simulations. The program also provides multiple professional growth avenues, such as KnightED Talks - complimentary one-hour workshops led by university professors and K-12 teachers discussing various aspects of education. Additionally, the yearly KnightEd Talks Student Showcase lets you present your outstanding projects to classmates in a 30-minute presentation at an on-campus conference setting.

The program features two specialized pathways aligned with different aspirations. Those seeking Florida Department of Education credentials can choose from our subject-specific certification options. Alternatively, the lifelong learning track suits professionals whose objectives don't involve formal certification requirements.
