UCF's forensic science program offers comprehensive training in utilizing scientific evidence within legal contexts. Students can choose between two specialized tracks—biochemistry or chemistry—allowing them to tailor their studies to match career goals, whether entering the job market immediately or pursuing advanced education.
The curriculum explores diverse topics such as forensic instrumentation, scientific communication, investigative methodologies, and the professional's responsibilities within the legal framework. Students also benefit from practical training in our cutting-edge lab, featuring advanced microscopy equipment including polarized light, stereo, and comparison microscopes. This hands-on component enables learners to develop proficiency with these instruments through microscopic examination of simulated forensic evidence.
