UNT's Forensic Biochemistry program equips students for careers in crime labs, where they apply biochemistry expertise to reveal crucial evidence. The program also provides pre-med preparation for those pursuing medical examiner roles. The University of North Texas offers a robust Forensic Science undergraduate curriculum rooted in its longstanding Natural Science Program, which has operated for more than five decades. Course offerings include Introduction to Criminalistics, Forensic Microscopy, and Instrumental Analysis. Students must also pass the Forensic Science Assessment Test.
