Select this program if you aim to teach in a standard K-6 classroom environment but haven't yet cleared the necessary exams for the K-6 Certification Track. Throughout the program, you'll fulfill required coursework and complete two teaching practicums. After graduation, you can teach with provisional certification while pursuing full professional certification. UCF's B.S. in Elementary Education equips you for a career as an elementary school educator. You'll acquire practical teaching skills while building the instructional methods and subject expertise necessary to support K-6 learners. The curriculum spans fundamental elementary subjects like reading, language arts, math, social studies, and science. Additionally, you'll gain direct experience teaching diverse learners, including those with disabilities and English language learners. You'll also get to explore cutting-edge educational technologies used in modern classrooms.
