As part of the UCF College of Medicine, the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences enhances your knowledge of human diseases and fosters the creation of novel therapeutic approaches.
This program delivers an extensive selection of biomedical science courses, enabling you to establish a broad foundation in areas like anatomy, molecular biology, cell biology, neurobiology, physiology, microbiology, and immunology. You have the option to pursue the standard degree curriculum or specialize in one of several focused pathways, such as neuroscience, molecular cell biology, or molecular microbiology.
While at UCF, engage with one of the many biomedical science student groups or collaborate with faculty on guided research projects. Research efforts address numerous widespread and critical global health issues, including cancer, cardiovascular conditions, molecular microbiology, neurodegenerative disorders, and diseases related to immunity and pathogenesis.
