The Department of Mathematics focuses on three key areas in its graduate programs: 1) Applied Mathematics - where mathematicians directly assist in solving real-world problems across various fields, 2) Mathematics Education - teaching others to independently develop solutions, and 3) Pure Mathematics - advancing and refining fundamental mathematical concepts. Students can pursue an M.A. in Mathematics, M.A. in Applied Mathematics, or Ph.D. in Mathematics, with an available specialization in Computational Science and Engineering.
Applicants to the master’s programs must hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a closely related field.
TOEFL scores 550 Paper-Based Test (PBT), 80 Internet-Based Test (IBT) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Overall Band score of 7 or higher (if applicable).
