World History has evolved into a fundamental course at universities and colleges throughout the United States and is gaining prominence globally. Our goal is to equip students with the skills to teach global perspectives. This discipline emphasizes cross-regional links and comparisons, diverse viewpoints, and a balanced approach to historical narratives from both dominant and marginalized perspectives. The curriculum particularly highlights topics like racial history and migration, imperial systems and frontier regions, gender studies and family structures, religious influences, scientific developments, culinary and trade histories, collective memory, as well as economic systems and their societal impacts.
