As an Art student, you'll gain a solid grounding and well-rounded education in art as a humanistic pursuit. The curriculum equips aspiring artists, those planning advanced studies, and students exploring related careers with essential skills. Beginning with a robust core program, you'll explore the multifaceted world of contemporary art—studying its history, theory, and creation. At higher levels, you can specialize your artistic growth while embracing art's fluid connection with modern culture. The Art Department provides both Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degrees. We emphasize innovative research exploring how creative inquiry intersects with practice, examining this interplay in historical and modern cultural contexts. Through our diverse curriculum and faculty expertise, students encounter wide-ranging artistic viewpoints that reflect our evolving global landscape.
You are considered a freshman applicant if you have completed secondary school and have not enrolled at any college or university.
English Language Proficiency
The minimum accepted score for admission consideration for the TOEFL is 80 or better on the Internet-based test and 550 or better on the paper-based test.
The minimum accepted score for the IELTS is 6.5 or better band score (academic modules).
