The Bachelor of Arts is a hands-on fine arts degree program that explores visual studies and diverse cultures, enabling students to cultivate their personal artistic perspective while grasping the connection between form and significance. To foster this artistic awareness, the curriculum blends practical studio classes in drawing/painting and digital media with visual studies courses examining art's historical, theoretical, and critical dimensions. This artistic investigation enhances students' visual literacy and conceptual thinking through active creation. Learners benefit from comprehensive education and training in creative practices, leveraging the extensive resources of the College of Arts, Media and Design. The program includes international study options in destinations like Iceland, Ireland, Japan, and the Galapagos, featuring immersive five-week summer intensives. Students can also choose semester-long courses at London's prestigious Central Saint Martins through the University of the Arts London (UAL), gaining cross-cultural artistic exposure while studying abroad.
