The Master of Science in Drug Development and Product Management pursues three key objectives: 1) Offering seasoned professionals a deep understanding of effective pharmaceutical product development and launch strategies, 2) Equipping students with essential expertise to actively participate in pharmaceutical product lifecycle management, and 3) Creating a strong career pathway to positions within pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, healthcare organizations, or regulatory bodies like the FDA and EMA. Admissions may involve an interview (conducted either in-person or virtually). This 48-quarter-unit program includes 40 units of core coursework plus an 8-unit industry practicum spread across four academic terms.

Qualification Requirements

Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education, or the equivalent, with training comparable in standard and content to that provided by the University of California. Minimum undergraduate/post-baccalaureate record (a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the final two years of study expected). TOEFL or IELTS scores (International Applicants). We require a minimum score of 85 on the TOEFL exam and a minimum score of 7.0 on the IELTS exam.
Successful applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or the equivalent from an accredited institution in the United States or from a recognized university-level academic institution abroad and at least a B average (3.0 GPA) or its equivalent by the time they enroll.
