The Mathematics Department provides an honors program designed for students who excel in their major studies. A diverse selection of courses in both theoretical and practical mathematics is available for majors and students from other fields. Seven BS degree options are offered: mathematics, applied mathematics, mathematics-computer science, a combined mathematics and economics major, mathematics-scientific computation, mathematics-applied science, and probability and statistics, along with one BA program in mathematics-secondary education. Students may also pursue minors in mathematics or mathematics education. An Honors Program is available for outstanding students across all eight major options.

To be considered for admission, you must have completed secondary school with a superior average in academic subjects and have earned a certificate of completion that enables you to be admitted to a university in your home country and is equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma.
