The Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences offers significant flexibility to accommodate students pursuing diverse fields within mathematics and statistics, including pure mathematics, computational mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics.
This program mandates a one-semester course in foundational subjects: Real Analysis, Algebra, Differential Equations, and Statistics. To provide comprehensive knowledge, students must complete 12 additional 400-level courses from the Department of Mathematical Sciences. For specialized expertise, two (2) full-year course sequences are required. Foundational freshman and sophomore courses, such as calculus and linear algebra, are also part of the curriculum.
