The UCLA Post-Baccalaureate Program in Classics, jointly offered by UCLA Extension and the UCLA Department of Classics, is a rigorous one-year certificate program designed for students who hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent. This full-time program provides intensive study in Classics or Latin, serving as ideal preparation for graduate studies in Classics and related disciplines. Beginning each fall quarter, the program is overseen by UCLA's distinguished Classics faculty. Participants take standard undergraduate courses, with potential access to graduate-level classes upon approval. The program is tailored for: graduates with degrees in Classics or similar fields, those aiming for graduate school in Classics, degree holders seeking full-time Classical studies, and bachelor's graduates wishing to deepen their understanding of Classics and humanities.
