Our intensive post-baccalaureate certificate program for pre-health students qualifies for Federal Financial Aid and offers organized academic preparation for aspiring applicants to various health professional programs such as medical, dental, veterinary, nursing, pharmacy, physician assistant, and physical therapy schools. Credits obtained can be transferred to UC and Cal State University campuses, as well as numerous universities across the country (certain restrictions may apply). Admission has no academic prerequisites. To receive the certificate, students must achieve and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 upon program completion.

Qualification Requirements

This certificate is approved for international students (F-1 student visa).Students participating in courses offered solely by UCLA Extension must meet the English Language Requirements outlined below. Any international student interested in taking classes on UCLA's main campus must adhere to the English Requirements outlined for UCLA courses.
GPA Requirement: Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 at the time of completion to earn the certificate.
