Within the Social Research Methodology graduate program, students create and execute research studies, devise and implement innovative methods, analyze data while connecting it to both theory and practical applications, and rigorously assess research findings. These programs cater to individuals focused on methodology as a core research field, with specialized interests in particular educational topics or challenges.
The SRM department provides two degree options: the Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy. Additionally, SRM features an Advanced Quantitative Methodology in Educational Research certificate program available to all graduate students at UCLA.
