Bachelor of Science in Physics. This program equips students with comprehensive training in fundamental physics principles through both theoretical coursework and hands-on laboratory experience. From cosmic-scale phenomena to quantum-level interactions and intricate molecular structures, physics explores all natural occurrences. The UCLA Physics & Astronomy department features strong research concentrations in multiple areas including Condensed Matter Physics, Particle Physics, Plasma Physics, Nuclear Physics, AMO (Atomic, Molecular and Optical) Physics, Accelerator Physics, Biophysics, and Astrophysics. Undergraduate students can choose from four distinct major tracks.
