The Department of Physics provides four undergraduate physics programs culminating in a B.S. degree. Prospective physics majors should schedule an initial consultation with the department to align their academic interests and career aspirations with program planning. Along with the specific requirements outlined for each program, students must complete the general and distribution requirements specified in the catalog. Those considering a physics major are advised to complete a full year of college calculus at the earliest opportunity.
A minor is mandatory. Note that this major cannot be combined with either a physics major or minor.
