The MCIP Graduate Group provides an extensive curriculum and exceptional research prospects for students pursuing M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, while also collaborating in combined Ph.D./M.D. and Ph.D./D.V.M. programs. With more than 80 faculty members from 25 diverse departments, divisions, and sections—spanning the School of Medicine, School of Veterinary Medicine, College of Biological Sciences, and College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences—the program fosters a multidisciplinary environment. Its campuswide structure ensures a wide-ranging academic experience, catering to students with varied interests, including interdisciplinary studies. This breadth is evident in the program's specialized fields, covering general domains like cellular/molecular and systemic physiology, as well as focused areas such as cardiovascular physiology, comparative physiology, endocrinology, exercise physiology, neurophysiology, reproductive physiology, and domestic animal physiology.
Consideration for program admission requires a bachelor’s degree. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
