The Ecology graduate program is an interdisciplinary initiative that provides students with a balanced foundation in both fundamental and practical ecological studies. Participants develop expertise in specialized fields such as agricultural ecology, conservation science, ecological genomics, landscape ecosystems, ecotoxicology, environmental policy & human ecology, marine studies, physiological ecology, or restoration science. Graduates acquire robust analytical and research capabilities for academic and professional careers in ecological principles and their real-world implementation. The program awards both Master's and Doctoral degrees in Ecology, a discipline that synthesizes diverse scientific approaches to understand how natural systems and human societies shape organism distribution, population dynamics, behavioral patterns, and ecosystem processes. To support diverse academic interests, the program features multiple focus areas with tailored curricula: agricultural systems, conservation science, ecological genetics, landscape ecosystems, ecotoxicology and physiological adaptations, policy and human-environment interactions, integrative ecological approaches, marine systems, and ecological restoration.
