The curriculum requires completion of 30 credit hours, with a minimum of 20 credits dedicated to approved courses in evolution, ecology, behavior, or related subjects. These courses must form a cohesive program centered on ecological, evolutionary, and behavioral sciences, subject to approval by the student's advisory committee.
