Animal biology involves the systematic study of both domesticated and wild creatures, along with their management systems. Grasping the diverse elements of organismal biology provides essential context for analyzing molecular, cellular, and behavioral findings. Learners acquire in-depth expertise in animal biology, ranging from lipid metabolism and immune system impacts on growth to wildlife conservation, reproductive technologies, and genetic influences on behavior. Graduates develop both qualitative and analytical capabilities needed for careers in animal biology research, education, and agriculture. The Animal Biology Graduate Group caters to those pursuing comprehensive animal biology knowledge. Investigations often address complex, interdisciplinary problems, enhanced by a foundation in whole-organism biology. This program provides doctoral and master's degrees in Animal Biology.
