Entomology students will explore eco-friendly techniques for managing household and farm pests. The curriculum covers methods to enhance the output of valuable insects like honeybees and strategies for tracking global insect population health. Following core coursework in natural sciences and math, you'll take introductory classes on insect biology, featuring practical training in specimen gathering and classification. You can customize your studies by selecting specialized courses in fields like arthropod pest control, beekeeping (bee science and production), applied entomology, or insect ecosystems.
