The two-year Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Program accepts 12 graduate students annually, aiming to cultivate professional artists who will make substantial contributions across diverse artistic, intellectual, and cultural fields. Prospective MFA candidates should enter the program with an established creative practice and technical mastery of their chosen medium. The curriculum combines structured coursework with self-directed study, fostering students' ability to critically situate their artistic production within both local contexts and the international contemporary art scene. The program actively promotes interdisciplinary exploration, allowing students to enroll in relevant courses across the university and collaborate with scholars from various departments including Geography, Environmental Sciences, Classics, Art History, Disability Studies, Philosophy, Cognitive Science, Interactive Design, Rhetoric, Film Studies, and Comparative Literature.
