The environmental engineering science (EES) program is an interdisciplinary field that combines core engineering principles with environmental and natural science coursework. The EES degree offers a wider scientific base, enabling students to enroll in diverse courses across multiple departments, including those beyond the Engineering College. This structure gives students greater opportunity to concentrate on environmental topics compared to traditional engineering degrees. EES delivers a comprehensive interdisciplinary background essential for developing practical solutions to worldwide environmental problems, like ensuring reliable access to clean water and balancing energy needs with atmospheric protection and climate stability.
