Montana State's Civil Engineering department offers a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering designed to meet the need for traditionally educated engineers specializing in environmental, municipal, and industrial systems, with expertise in water chemistry, fluid mechanics, and hydraulics. The program teaches students to collaborate with the environment, conserving and safeguarding natural resources while addressing society's infrastructure requirements.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.
