The Atmospheric Science program delves into the core natural mechanisms governing air composition, circulation patterns, and weather systems. Examining how these systems have evolved historically and might transform in coming years represents one of today's most significant scientific and technical challenges. Coursework encompasses climate fluctuation physics, stratospheric ozone depletion, atmospheric chemistry-climate interactions, tropospheric oxidation capacity shifts, air pollution, and how atmosphere-biosphere interactions affect air quality.
