The UB MBA program stands out as the premier MBA option within SUNY and ranks among the nation's best business programs for multiple compelling reasons. Bloomberg Businessweek places us at #39 nationally and in the top 20 for public MBA programs, while Forbes recognizes us as #2 in the U.S. for fastest return on MBA investment. Distinguished faculty, exceptional students, top-tier services, and accomplished graduates all contribute to making our MBA program an outstanding selection. We exclusively accept full-time MBA students during fall admissions. An MBA serves as a powerful credential that complements various professional degrees, providing simultaneous business education to those pursuing specialized careers. The School of Management features six unique dual-degree options: the MBAAuD for speech pathology students, MBAReal Estate Development MS for urban planners, MBADDS for future dentists, MBAMPH for public health practitioners, and an MBA combined with surgical residency for aspiring surgeons. Reach out to the School of Management to learn more about these efficient dual-degree pathways.
Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
The School of Management is using a test-optional admissions process for our MBA for the 2024 admissions cycle. You have the option to submit GMAT or GRE scores in support of your application but are not required to do so.
If you choose to submit a score, it may improve your chance of being admitted, as well as increase your opportunity for a merit-based scholarship.

Personal statements
Two personal statements are required for admissions consideration:
Each personal statement should be uploaded as a PDF. Document length for each statement should be approximately 700 words.
Résumé
Submit a résumé showing relevant education and work experience.
Transcripts
Unofficial transcripts should be uploaded as a PDF to your application for admissions review. Upload the front and back of transcripts (if back is blank, you do not need to upload the back). You should upload transcripts for each college/university you list in your application. If you only attended one undergraduate institution, you may ignore the second item.
Transcripts for all undergraduate credits (including transfer credits) earned toward your undergraduate degree must be uploaded for admissions consideration. We will not consider your application until you upload all undergraduate transcripts.
In regard to international transcripts, we will accept a transcript issued in English by the university. If the university does not provide the transcript in English, you must submit a copy of the transcript in your native language and an English translation. Applicants who have attended an Indian university must upload transcripts, mark sheets and proof of degree.
