Northwestern's Master of Science in Project Management (MPM) program integrates core principles of development, design, and construction methodologies with key management and behavioral science theories. This interdisciplinary curriculum equips professionals for leadership positions across various organizations involved in planning, building, and maintaining projects in both public and private sectors. The MPM program transforms early and mid-career professionals into adaptable, technically skilled individuals with practical project management expertise. Graduates will possess the capabilities to oversee significant projects in today's complex international construction landscape, positioning them for career growth within organizational hierarchies.
Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in engineering or architecture, but individuals with quantitatively based degrees and/or appropriate work experience will be given serious consideration, provided certain basic engineering, science, and mathematics requirements are satisfied in addition to the stated requirements of the program.
