The Master of Science in Management Studies (MSMS) is a flexible graduate program that enhances an international management education. Tailored for students currently finishing or who have completed their MBA (or equivalent master's degree) at one of Sloan's global partner institutions, the MSMS enables participants to focus on their preferred management field. They can create a personalized course plan by selecting electives from MIT Sloan, other MIT departments, and Harvard University. Participants concentrate on a particular management specialization through designated focus areas, elective courses, and collaboration with a Sloan professor to complete a required thesis in their chosen field. This intensive 9-month program, spanning September through June, demands full-time attendance.
To be admitted as a regular graduate student, an applicant must have earned a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a college, university, or technical school of acceptable standing. Students in their final year of undergraduate study may be admitted on the condition that their bachelor’s degree is awarded before they enroll at MIT.
TOEFL/IELTS scores not required.
