The CISL PhD program in Curriculum, Instruction and the Science of Learning offers an interdisciplinary doctoral degree centered on solving real-world educational challenges through research across various learning and teaching environments. Unlike traditional curriculum and instruction programs, our distinctive approach prioritizes the science of learning - a contemporary methodology for creating evidence-based practices through design research. This research process involves implementing novel educational approaches, analyzing their impact, and refining them for continued investigation.
