The Biomedical Sciences program allows students to broaden their undergraduate education by integrating courses from multiple departments in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, helping them concentrate their studies in preparation for graduate or professional school. Students must complete a set of core courses typically required as prerequisites for medical, dental, optometry, and veterinary programs. These courses are also commonly mandatory for admission to many graduate programs across various health science fields.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
