The Physics Department provides a Bachelor of Arts in Physics with a Teaching of Science Physics Concentration. This program equips students with fundamental knowledge in physics and mathematics needed to teach physics in middle and high schools (grades 7-12). While excellent for those planning graduate studies in education, this pathway may not suit students aiming for advanced physics degrees.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
