At UB, you'll join the sole classics program in the SUNY network, immersing yourself in historical studies, archaeology, mythologies, and beyond while linking antiquity to current times.
Studying classics allows you to examine how early civilizations and their traditions affect modern existence. This enhances your grasp of cultural subtleties while sharpening crucial analytical abilities. Through comprehensive studies in government, thought systems, historical events, and other fields, you'll gain enduring wisdom that employers consistently prize.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
