Our Master of Science in Information program is exclusively offered on the main campus, featuring a multidisciplinary approach, chances for community involvement, and a focus on information interaction. We strive to prepare you as an information specialist capable of addressing practical information challenges and collaborating across fields. You'll gain both interpersonal and technical competencies, graduating with practical expertise that integrates behavioral, psychological, cultural, and philosophical viewpoints.
Starting Spring 2023, applicants can choose between the general M.S. in Information Science or select from two specialized tracks: Machine Learning or Human-Centered Computing.
Machine learning focuses on handling and analyzing vast datasets by automating model creation. This specialization equips graduates to become pioneering scientific professionals in various industries, with deep comprehension of machine learning as a distinct data science discipline. Available on campus and online for international students via our collaboration with Great Learning. The Human-Centered Computing curriculum covers areas such as simulations, virtual environments, interface design, user experience, and individual data gathering.
