Our Master of Arts in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) is a one-year graduate program open to select students who have earned their Bachelor's degree before enrollment. The MA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics typically spans one to two years and accepts a small cohort of students holding undergraduate degrees in any discipline. Current Philosophy, Politics, Economics & Law (PPEL) undergraduates may qualify for our accelerated MA track.

Applicants must submit a minimum TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 550 paper based (PB), 79 internet based (iBT), or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) composite score of 7 (no subject area below a 6). Applicants may request, the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to send an official TOEFL score report directly to The University of Arizona.
