Participants complete 27 units in their chosen Emphasis area, supplemented by 9 units each in three distinct Concentrations. Detailed information about Emphasis and Concentration options can be found on the emphases page.
Sports and Society establishes a foundation for comprehending the sports sector and its interconnected economic, political, religious, cultural, ethnic, and social frameworks. Course selections should focus on building core competencies in economics, accounting, and management principles, while also fostering the capacity to analyze diverse viewpoints on sociocultural evolution and critically evaluate opposing perspectives. Program guidelines require students to complete coursework from at least two distinct academic disciplines that explore the economic, political, religious, cultural, ethnic, and social dimensions of sports.
