The IDS program offers an interdisciplinary approach to education, diverging from conventional major/minor structures. This Interdisciplinary Studies curriculum equips learners with the ability to think critically and analytically across various academic fields. The flexible program allows you to select courses that align with your personal interests and goals. Participants complete 27 units in their chosen Emphasis area, supplemented by 9 units each in three distinct Concentrations. The Arts, Media & Entertainment track cultivates critical analysis skills for evaluating artistic works, explores communication methods in creative fields, and provides foundational knowledge in arts promotion and marketing. Coursework emphasizes analyzing the impact of social, network, technical, and entertainment media while preparing students for professional opportunities in arts, media, entertainment, and related industries.
