The five-year dual MD/MPH program allows students to obtain both medical and public health degrees simultaneously. Summer classes help fulfill requirements, with certain master's courses and six internship credits being exempt. Albany Medical College MD candidates who wish to strengthen their public health expertise can concurrently pursue a University at Albany MPH degree to better tackle health challenges in their medical practice.
