The unique Arctic setting offers specialized research prospects in environmental biochemistry, genetic adaptations, and molecular genetics. Those pursuing an M.S. degree in these fields should explore the M.S. in Chemistry with a Biochemistry and Neuroscience concentration. UAF's faculty and partner institutions create a dynamic academic setting with robust research opportunities and extensive coursework. This program is ideal for students aiming for careers in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, environmental health, genetics, or biomedicine.
