The UAF Drawing Program forms the core of all studio art studies, focusing on representational techniques while exploring both traditional and modern approaches, including abstract and conceptual art. Life Drawing classes alternate semesters, and the Department provides weekly open sessions for all art students. Students can pursue Drawing as a primary or secondary focus for their B.F.A. or M.F.A. degrees.

Have a high school diploma, and, Pass the 16-credit high school core curriculum with at least a 2.5, and ,Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5. Submit certified official secondary school and/or university transcripts and English translations. It is required that official transcripts of all high school and/or college-level coursework be signed and sealed by a registration official of the institution(s) attended. IELTS score of 6.5, TOEFL IBT score of 79.
