The drawing curriculum fosters students' artistic growth and self-expression while cultivating analytical and historical perspectives on drawing's role in visual arts and society. Introductory classes focus on observational skills and classical techniques for depicting objects and figures in space. More advanced courses, including figure drawing, encourage diverse personal interpretations and modern approaches. Learners experiment with both conventional and innovative materials. Eight dedicated faculty members, all practicing artists who regularly exhibit and publish their work, guide the Drawing program. Students benefit from individualized instruction and mentorship.
