The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Differentiated Instruction designed for certified teachers holding a bachelor's degree who wish to pursue advanced (Alabama Class A) certification, along with one non-certification option. This program emphasizes strategies for planning lessons, delivering instruction, evaluating student progress, and fostering collaboration to enhance educational experiences for visually impaired, blind, and deaf-blind learners.
It also concentrates on adapting teaching methods and evaluations to optimize learning for all elementary students (K-6).
