The Master of Arts in Elementary Education is a state-recognized program designed to equip individuals holding bachelor's degrees in non-education fields with the credentials needed for initial teaching certification (Grades K-6). This curriculum focuses on developing highly skilled elementary educators through research-backed instructional methods. Upon completion, graduates will meet the qualifications to pursue state-approved ESOL (Grades K-12) and Reading (Grades K-12) endorsements.
Please note: The Master of Arts in Elementary Education (Grades K-6) with ESOL and Reading endorsements (Grades K-12) may be modified to reflect updates in Florida's Administrative Code (State Board of Education Rule 6A-5.066). Program participants should maintain regular communication with their academic advisors to stay informed about any adjustments made to align with evolving state standards.
